I had my first curly haircut with Ryan and I will be back for sure! He took the time to listened to what I wanted with my haircut. He explained what he was doing the whole time to help me be able to create my new hairstyle at home. I LOVE that you know the cost before going into the appointment and that they don’t make you feel like you need to go buy a bunch of new things to get the look you were going for. Once I finish the product I have I will for sure buy from them because of that! Thank you again Ryan! I love my new curly cut!

I’ve been seeing Natalie for several months now since I moved to SLC and I have had the best experiences with her. The haircuts are great, the conversation is enjoyable, and I feel genuine warmth and care from her. I’ve also had only positive interactions with others at Lucero as well. I’ve lived in various cities for a couple decades, and it’s not hyperbole to say this has been my favorite salon experience ever. She was nice, but I don’t think she really understood what I wanted. I asked for a trim on the cut I already had just to shorten it back up. I ended up with a completely different cut. My bangs are the worst part.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Came in with no idea what I wanted and Madison was incredibly helpful in walking me through options and explaining how to take care of my hair after the cut.

Absolutely amazing! Great environment, everyone was so nice and my experience was very comfortable. Joie (hope im spelling that right) was my artist and she killed it! She was so sweet and fun to talk to, and the hand painted dye design turned out great. Im so happy with my hair!

My appointment was great! Madison did a wonderful job with my hair and was super helpful. It seems like there was an error in me getting checked in properly, though, as Madison waited ~five minutes not realizing I was there. Not too big of a problem, though. I\'ll be back!

Ryan is an outstanding barber. He consistently gives me good cuts, helps me figure out new styles, and gives solid hair care and product advice. He’s an easy conversationalist and multitasks well when other barbers have questions for him. Can’t say enough good things about him!

I was charged for a 45 minute appointment when she took 32 minutes. She unnecessarily dried my hair for 8 minutes. I complained about one side of my head and she didn’t fix it. It’s been a month and I’m still mad about it.

I had a decent experience- friendly stylist who has a lot of experience. Though I feel like he didn’t totally listen to my hair request. Was hoping just to reshaped my longer hair and got a short cut instead. I should have caught it earlier in the haircut but I didn’t get to see my hair till the very end. Next time I would like to a little more check in through the process, especially since it was our first time. Don’t mind the cut, just a lot shorter than I was hoping for

my stylist was really nice so i feel bad for being unhappy with the service, but the client before me ran 15 minutes into my appointment, and then mine ended 5 minutes early. i was still charged for the hour, and i understand that’s what i booked, but i only received 40 minutes of service and that doesn’t feel very fair since that was no fault of mine. i wouldn’t care if i’d left with the haircut i asked for, but looking at my reference photos next to what i was given, my hair is so much shorter, and i had to fix uneven chunks myself when i got home. it felt like most of my appointment was spend in the hair bowl, and the actual cut only lasted ~20 minutes. i don’t know if it was because of the time, but i wish i would have been told if time was an issue for the haircut i was asking for. i wish i could come back in and have it fixed, but there’s no putting hair back on. i’ve been to lucero a couple times before and i’ve always been happy. trust with my hair is a big thing for me so it’s hard not to be upset. I’ve been trying to figure out if i miscommunicated or something, but i don’t think i did.

She’s been there while I go through a beautiful metamorphosis and honestly she’s a big part of the reason why I feel beautiful the first time in my life. Everyone here is really amazing and I’m going to miss coming here
